Full Moon Eclipse in Taurus (11/19/21)

This week brought us a Full Moon Eclipse in Taurus, and it’s energy can be felt both a few days before and after. One of my rituals during key lunations (new & full) is creating spreads!

So I offer this spread I contributed to the incredible Scorpio issue of the 𝐀𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐄𝐝𝐢𝐭 by Anthony Perrotta. 𝘼 𝙉𝙤𝙩𝙚 𝙤𝙣 𝙀𝙘𝙡𝙞𝙥𝙨𝙚𝙨

While certain elements of astrology receive a fair bit of hype / misunderstanding (e.g., retrogrades and eclipses), I don’t see any of these things as fitting into a solid binary of “good” or “bad.” Full Moons illuminate key aspects of our lives and eclipses are often about release. Eclipses are also 𝗰𝘆𝗰𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹, so they are essentially cosmic learning opportunities! This Eclipse ushers in a Taurus/Scorpio cycle lasting through October 2023, calling to focus our values, what we 𝘪𝘯𝘷𝘦𝘴𝘵 ourselves into, our stability & security, and our ability to 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺 & evolve. 

𝙍𝙚𝙜𝙖𝙧𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙀𝙘𝙡𝙞𝙥𝙨𝙚

Because this lunation occurs at 27º Taurus, the energy of this eclipse reflects its correspondence with the 𝐒𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐏𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐜𝐥𝐞𝐬. If you caught my first episode of 𝙏𝙖𝙧𝙤𝙩 & 𝙏𝙚𝙖, you’ll know this card led our week ahead reading! The 7 of Pentacles welcomes us to intentionally pause and evaluate the seeds we’ve planted.

Which will we actually want to sow?
What pruning may be necessary to ensure we aren’t inadvertently restricting our own growth?
